James Francis Morrison passed away November 18, 2011, at Broomfield Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation (Hospice), Broomfield, Colorado. He was born September 23, 1929 in New Haven, CT. He was the son of James J. and Mary Agnes (Reilly) Morrison. He was in the Army and then worked for the Government. He was married for 48 years to Virginia (Kraft) Morrison. They lived in Arvada, Colorado for 30 years raising their two daughters, Theresa and Catherine. James was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia (Kraft) Morrison and his parents. He is survived by his children, Theresa Wilson and her husband Matt of Aurora, CO and Catherine Monroe and her husband Kevin of Ames, Iowa, four grandchildren, Tyler and Amanda Wilson and Zachary and Brianna Monroe, three brothers, William of Tampa, FL, Thomas of Mount Laurel, New Jersey, and Robert of Bowie, Maryland, many relatives and friends. Service at 1 P.M. on December 2, 2011, at Ft. Logan National Cemetery with military honors. Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association, 1280 South Parker Road, Denver, CO 80231, 303-369-5433.
