James "Jimmy" Page
James “Jimmy” Lewis Page, 85, of Forest, VA passed away peacefully on Monday, October 21, 2024, at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the husband of Catherine “Kitty” Sublett Page for 62 years.
Born July 24, 1939 in Lynchburg, VA, he was the son of the late Elmo Lewis and Gladys Frye Page. He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and also regularly attended Bethlehem Lutheran Church. He was retired from General Electric and HTC. He was a lifelong automobile enthusiast and a Senator of the Jaycees International (JCI).
In addition to his wife Kitty, he is survived by his daughter, Heather Page Tichenor, and her husband, Cary, of Forest, VA; three grandchildren, Nora, Corinne and Isla Tichenor; a niece Catherine Staples and wife, Denise of Virginia Beach; and a nephew, Dennis Staples and wife, Ann of Charlotte, North Carolina.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, October 31, 2024, at 12 Noon at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church. The interment will be in Fort Hill Memorial Park after the service and reception.
