James Elton Pryor

James Elton Pryor of Haines City, Florida passed away on September 9, 2020. He was 65. He was born on December 8, 1954 in Homestead, Florida and moved to Haines City in 1962 from Miami, Florida. James was retired from the citrus industry after working many years, he loved to attend services at Shamrock Baptist Church in Haines City. Some of his interests include watching race cars, of any kind, on TV, as well as watching football and he always had quite the garden, a true green thumb. James is predeceased by his father, James Edward Pryor; his sister, Carol Mugridge; his uncle, Alfred Pryor and his brother-in-law, Steve Jordan. He is survived by his mother, Doris Pryor of Haines City; son, James Elton Pryor, II and wife, Laura of Winter Haven, Florida; daughter, Brandy Bennett and husband, Greg of Winter Haven; sisters, Joyce Jordan of Davenport, Florida, Wanda Green and husband, Charles of Haines City; grandchildren, Baylee, Delayna, Lexi and many nieces and nephews.
