Janet A. Millace

Janet A. Summers Millace, age 88, passed away on November 20, 2018 at her home in Venice. She was born in Buffalo, New York on May 1st, 1930 to Jesse Summers & Lena Bensch Summers. Janet worked in retail for 25 years. She was the recipient of several Walgreens Awards. Janet proudly participated in the manufacturing of military aircraft during WWII. She loved sewing, was an avid bird enthusiast, cooking, baking, and a lover of all animals. Janet is survived by her husband, Arthur R. Millace, Sr; her children, Pamela (Richard) Brobst, Cynthia (Steve) Baker & Arthur Millace Jr., Grandchildren Rebecca (Dan) Kepner, Michael Brobst, Gage (Sarah) Brobst, Nicole (Ryan) Parker, Lauren (Patrick Swope) Cameron, Jenna (Xavier) Baker-Ameer, Steven Baker, Amanda Millace & Rusty Kavanaugh. She is also survived by her Great-Grandchildren Ryan, Mila, Colton, Kensington, Ledley, Pippa, Rommel, Ethan, Darren, and Roselie. Along with the love she had for her nieces and nephews she also had a special place in her heart for Connor, Madison, Riley, Rickey, Nick, Joey, Kathy and her dog Lacy. Visitation will be held at Farley Funeral Home Venice Chapel on Saturday, December 1st, 2018 from 10am-12pm & 4pm – 6pm with a Funeral Service at 6pm. A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, December 2nd, at 1:00pm at the Gulf Pines Memorial Park located at 2401 Englewood Road in Englewood. Family and friends who would like to join the Funeral Procession are asked to be at the Farley Funeral Home Venice Chapel no later than 12:00pm.
