Janice Mae Espinoza
January 1st, 1956 - June 19th, 2015
Janice Mae Espinoza left her earthly body on June 19, 2015 in Lakewood, Colorado at the age of 59 years. She died peacefully with family at her side. Jan was born on January 1, 1956 in Eads, Colorado. She was the fourth child of Harold and Margaret Smithburg. Jan was the wife of Noah Espinoza, of Monte Vista, Colorado. Jan attended school in Arriba, CO. She was a member of the Arriba Congregational Church. An active participant in her 4-H Club, she exhibited her beautiful sewing and showed animals at the Lincoln County Fair. Employed by Spring Crest Draperies in Pueblo for many years, Jan decided to move to Monte Vista, CO. Jan was united in marriage to Noah Espinoza on December 30, 1999. . Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Noah Espinoza of Monte Vista, her loving daughters Jennifer (Rich) McCart of Aurora, Colorado and Kendal (Kevin) Kelly, Manitou Springs, Colorado and sister Gloria (Mark) Bosley of Trinidad, Colorado. Jan cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren, Aspen McCart of Aurora, Jackson McCart of Aurora, and Madison Kelly of Manitou Springs. Her nieces and nephews include Denice Gettman, Bryan Gettman, Tyson McCormick, Melissa Stehwien, and Ryan Wright. Jan's dog, Rocky, was truly a joy in her life. Jan is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Margaret Smithburg, her sister, Shirley McCormick and brothers, David Smithburg and Randal Smithburg and a niece, Leslie Wright. Jan will be dearly missed by her husband, daughters, family and friends. Memorial services will be held on June 25, 2015 at 4:00 P.M at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 6465 W Jewell Ave, Lakewood, Colorado 80232
