Janice Norine Robirds (Lund) May 20, 1930 - July 19, 2014 Janice Robirds, our beloved mother, passed on the evening of July 19th. She died peacefully with her children by her side. She struggled many years with illness and we take comfort in knowing that she is no longer suffering and that she is joined with our father once again. Janice was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She took pride in her childrens' and grand childrens' accomplishments. She was a devout catholic and an avid sports fan, especially loving Norte dame football. She enjoyed traveling with her husband. Janice was born and raised in Oregon. She married her high school sweetheart, Bob, in 1952. He preceded her in death. She is survived by her four children, Christine Ruiz, Matthew Robirds, Julia Robirds, Brian Robirds, and her four grandchildren, Caitlin Robirds, Abigail Robirds, Gabrielle Robirds and Nolan Ryan Robirds. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, July 28, 2014 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 7525 SE Cesar Chavez Blvd ( corner of SE 39th Ave. and SE Flavel) Portland, with a reception following.
