Janice Nora Skogebo
June 14th, 1941 - November 3rd, 2016
Janice Nora Skogebo passed away at 75 years old on November 3rd, 2016. Jan was born June 14th, 1941 to Wayne and Fern Joosten in Davenport, Iowa. Jan moved to Mesa, Arizona with the love of her life, Paul Skogebo, and they married in 1966. They recently celebrated their 50th Anniversary together this past March. Jan and Paul, who have traveled the world over, had recently fallen in love with the place and people of La Jolla, California. Most of all, Jan enjoyed spending time with her family. Jan is survived by her husband Paul, daughter Julie Tyler Norm, and son David Jocelyn; seven grandchildren, Norman Tyler Tammy, Michael Tyler, Kristina Dotterer Aaron, Hannah, Tatum, Jackson, and Carter Skogebo; and two great grandchildren, Grace and Andrew Tyler; and her sister Jeanine Stull Al and many nieces and nephews. Private services are being held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Mayo Foundation: Mayo Clinic 200 First St. S.W. Rochester, MN 55905 or www.mayoclinic.org.
