Jason Paul Carr

Jason Paul Carr, 56 years old, of Falcon, CO, died at home on May 9, 2024.

He was born in Minneapolis on March 9, 1968, to Martha and Dean Carr, but shortly moved to Colorado, where he stayed throughout his life.

Jason met the love of his life, Tina, in 1990 and married on July 8,1995. Spent almost 35 years together and experienced mostly highs and a few lows; like most great marriages. They got to co-own the Antique Gallery for almost 20 years. Found and lived in their dream home for nearly 26 years together. Had the privilege to be grandparents to their four wonderful grandchildren and he was looking forward to meeting his first great-grandchild.

Everyone who knew Jason knew how much he loved rc planes, juggling, watch/clock repair, auto mechanics, his grandbabies, his dog Dixie, antiques, working for U-Haul, tinkering, and learning to fly a plane. Jason never met a stranger and was boldly himself.

Jason will always be remembered for being a very caring person who just couldn’t sit still. He touched many people’s lives and Jason will be missed every day. His memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved him.

Jason was preceded in death by his dad Dean Carr, grandparents Jean and Ellen Mutrux, and John and Winifred Carr, and is survived by his wife Tina Carr, stepdaughters Ceana Jaramillo (Alex) and Brittan Fishgrab (Jason), grandchildren Kayla (Isaiah), Aiden, Taylor, and Tanner, great-granddaughter Lilah, mother Martha Carr, stepfather Howard (Tom) Heinonen, and sister Kristen Schafer (Bob).

The memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday May 18, 2024, at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 4280 Hopeful Dr., Colorado Springs, CO 80917.
