April 11th, 1941 - April 4th, 2016
Jay V. Hodges, Captain, USAF (RET), of Security went to be with the Lord April 4, 2016. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. He was born April 11, 1941 to Earl J. & Elna O. Hodges in Ft. Lupton, CO. He married Judy (Barrett) Hodges May 27, 2001 in Security. He attended Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Security. He is survived by his wife, Judy Hodges; his siblings, Verla (John) York, Earline Schreiner, Jim (Janie) Hodges; his brother-in-law, Jonathan Glover; his children, Carrie Rivera, Jay (Naomi) Hodges, Toni (Tim) Zemlicka; his stepchildren, Starla Quinn, Ronda (Brian) Steckler, Tracie (Steven) Carricato, and his grandchildren, Alexandria, Chadlee, Joshua, Mikaela, Bailey, Shaylen, Kayley, Shalane, Valerie, and Cailee. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Gwen Glover & Ken Hodges, and his brother-in-law, Dean Schreiner. The family would like to thank all of the doctors and nurses who took such wonderful care of him at Memorial Hospital Central ICUB.
