Jeanette Ann Gallegos

Jeanette (Lucero) Gallegos, lovingly referred to as "Janet", was born on March 13, 1954, in Denver Colorado and was called home on December 20, 2021. Janet was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She was married to Chief Daniel Gallegos, until he was called home in 2004. Together they raised 3 children and were blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Janet lived a beautiful and long life of 67 years, which she dedicated to loving her family. She enjoyed reading, "going up to the hills", attending church and spending quality time with the Lord. Janet is preceded in death by her beloved husband Chief Daniel Gallegos, her mother Dolores Lucero, her brother Richard Lucero, sister Patricia "Patty" Lucero, brother Anthony Vasquez and brother Carlos Duran. Janet is survived by her sons Chief (Denise) Gallegos and Mark (Maria) Gallegos, daughter Jolene Gallegos, her grandchildren Destiny "Myaa" Gallegos, Josiah Gallegos, C.J. Gallegos, Ariel Gallegos, Sebastian Medina, Marissa Gallegos, Sammie Gallegos, Christopher Manchego, Marily Gallegos and Jacqueline Gallegos, great-grandchildren Jeremiah, Camdyn, Landyn, Aries, Noir, Saint and Avaline, as well as her brothers Peter (Lucille) Lucero and Ernest (Helen) Lucero, sister Evelyn (Orlando) Zamora and many beloved nieces and nephews. While we will miss her dearly, we know she is in a much better place. "She arose, He has called her name.
