Jeffrey "Rex" Wayne Rexrode
April 1st, 1961 - November 20th, 2022
Jeffrey “Rex” Wayne Rexrode, 61, born April 1, 1961, in Akron, Ohio to Edwin Carl and Patricia Ann Rexrode. He passed away on November 20, 2022, in Winter Haven, Florida. Rex is survived by his wife of 41.5 years, Terina Anne Rexrode, son, Thomas “TC” Carl (Kaitlin) Rexrode, grandson Kaiden Thomas Rexrode and son, Owen Smith, sisters Jean Kruger, Cindi Schwartz and many loved family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his both parents and nephew, Christopher Reeves. Rex started working for the Department of Corrections as a Correctional Officer from 1985-2022. He was also a member of the Winter Haven Baptist Church from 2014 to present and before was a member of the Sun Coast Baptist in Port Charlotte from 1994-2013 and attended First Baptist Church of Polk City. Rex will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to many.
