Joe Henry Cardenas, 71 passed away in Fort Lupton, Colorado on March 1, 2023. He was born in Brighton, CO on May 4, 1951 to Gilberto and Stella Cardenas. He was one of five children. Joe Henry lived the majority of his life in Fort Lupton. Joe Henry married Christina Hernandez on April 14, 1993 in Brighton, Colorado. He worked in the Steel Industry for over 40 years where he retired. He enjoyed camping, fishing and spending most of his time with his kids, grandkids and great grandkids. He was a big Denver sports fan. He enjoyed traveling and was a huge pet lover. Survivors include his spouse, Christina Cardenas; Six children Joseph Cardenas (Sandy), Jason Cardenas, Victor Rodriguez (Juanita), Felicia Rodriguez, Bridgette Trujillo (Louie) and Edie Valdez (Jesus); Four siblings, Bobby Cardenas (Nora), Esmeralda Riofrio (Juan), Eva Cox (Mikel) and Gilbert Cardenas Jr. (Angela). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gilberto and Stella Cardenas.
