John "Uncle Bobby" Robert Adair

John “Uncle Bobby” Robert Adair, Jr., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Brookdale Winter Haven. He was 93. John was born on August 14, 1926 in Davenport, FL to the late John Robert, Sr. and Annie Lou Thomas Adair. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. John was a grove caretaking manager for the Haines City Citrus Growers Association for 30 plus years, a lifelong resident of Lake Hamilton, and a member of the Still Water Christian Life Center in Haines City, FL. John was a faithful servant of the Lord, who loved to read the Bible. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and farming. John loved spending time with his family and he was a huge Florida Gators fan. He will be remembered for his kindness and always wanting to help others. He is predeceased in death by his parents; wife, June Ellen Karns Adair; and daughter, Brenda Adair-Przybylski. John is survived by his grandchildren, James Ryan Finch and Robert Travis Finch both of Deltona, FL; two great grandchildren, Hunter Finch and Wilow Finch; son-in-law, Mike and wife, Mary of Haines City, FL; two nephews, Jim Soles and John Soles both of Haines City, FL; and three nieces, Terri Jennings of Mills River, NC, Wendy Harrison of Horse Shoe, NC and Patti Grantham of Paris, TN. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Still Water Christian Life Center in Haines City, with Pastor Wayne Culver officiating.
