John "Jack" A. Bade

Of St. Paul, born Dec. 2, 1930 died peacefully at home on Sept. 27, 2016 at the age of 85. Preceded in death by brother, Glen. Survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Dorothy; children Greg, Jeff (Mary), Mark (Maryclare), Kathy Yanez, Steve (Nancy), Ann (Gary) Gilbert, and Tom (Jody); grandchildren Kris (Danny) Song, David (Adriana) Bade, Laura (Adam) Hertz, Joe Bade, Nick Bade, Lissa (Brian) Schatz, Nikki Furlong, Cassie Furlong, Emily (Chris) Suedbeck, Megan (Archie) Montpetit, Ben (Erica) Yanez, Allie (Cory) Kimball, Drew Bade, Matt Bade, Rachel (Mike) Bekius, Sam Gilbert, Malinda King, and Miranda Bade; 14 great grandchildren, Ella Song, Addison & Cameron Bade, Olivia Hertz, Jack & Anthony Suedbeck, Abby, Skyler & Archie Montpetit, Christian, Ciara, Mariano & Miguel Yanez, Lyle Kimball, 3 additional great grandchildren soon to be expected, and sister Bev. John worked 35 years with the Federal Government as an Industrial Engineer for the Dept. of Defense. During his retirement years he spent most of his time with his sons with various construction jobs, working up until age 82, his specialty was painting. He enjoyed spending weekends at the family cabin. Swinging a golf club with his friends, children and grandchildren was a favorite as well. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00AM, Saturday October 1, at the Church of the Assumption, 51 W. 7th St, St. Paul. Visitation 4-8PM Friday at Willwerscheid Funeral Home, 1167 Grand Ave., St. Paul, 651-228-1006, and at church 1 hour before Mass. Burial resurrection Cemetery.
