John Michael Cathey, 65, died July 17, 2019 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.He was born July 27, 1953 in Denver, Colorado to John Arlan and Bonnie Adair (Olson) Cathey.John was a veteran with the United States Coast Guard. He was assigned to an Ice Breaker Ship and dove in the Arctic Ocean and near Antarctica. He was also a Project Manager for Commercial Construction companies in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie A. Bullock; and father, John A. Cathey.John is survived by his wife, Johanna Cathey; children, Mason, Janay, Jeniese and Jerram Cathey; grandchild, Jaiden Youngblood; sister, Debra Russo; and brother, Paul Cathey.
