John Clinton Cook Jr, 77, of Wheat Ridge, Colorado, Passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2017. John was born in Trinidad, Colorado, on July 7, 1939, to John and Mary Jean (Beaty) Cook. He grew up in Trinidad and Pueblo Colorado. He attended the New Mexico Military Institute and joined the Navy in 1960. He served our Country until 1967. On December 3, 1960, John married the love of his life, Barbara Jane Evans. They were happily married for 57 years. After the Navy, John received his Associates Degree and worked with computers. He loved the game of golf and worked as a starter after retirement. John always said his biggest and best accomplishment was his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to all. John is survived by his wife Barbara; 2 daughters, Virginia (Jim) Biederman and Mary (Brad) Betz; 5 grandchildren, Amber (Kevin) Johnson, Joshua Biederman, Nicole (Kris) Hartman, Kaylee Gray, and Jon Biederman; 11 great-grandchildren, Kayla, Blake, Cameron, Gaige, Kiah, Miah, Ariah, Vincent, Jadah, Sylah, and Tony; 2 brothers, Bill (Patricia) Cook and Pat (Barbara) Cook; and several nieces and nephews.
