John DeBold, longtime resident of Colorado Springs, passed away June 3. Born in Dayton, Ohio, graduate of Tippecanoe High School and Wright State University in Dayton. John was a proud veteran of the US Army. His most recent employment was at WOW, where he was beloved and respected by his coworkers. John is survived by his loving wife Melinda, his sister Lori, and relatives in Ohio and California, who will miss him forever. John had an intense love of cars, antique collecting, computer gaming and military history. His death came suddenly and far too early for those of us who loved him. Services will be held Saturday, 11:00 am, at First Presbyterian Church, 219 E. Bijou Street, Colorado Springs, Colorado. He will be interred along with his family in Sabina, Ohio.
