John Mark Fletcher

John Mark Fletcher of Colorado Springs passed away on September 29, 2013 in Divide, Colorado with his beloved wife, Ruth, and his loving daughter, Susan, at his side. John was born on December 8, 1936 in Denton, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and five brothers. He was the dearest uncle to many nieces and nephews. John was a proud member of the Circle Drive Baptist Church in Colorado Springs. John had a distinguished career serving our country in the US Air Force, worked with FEMA, and the National Defense Warning Center at NORAD. John's hobbies included hiking, photography, working on the computer and reading. A viewing will be held Wednesday, October 2nd from 1PM – 6PM at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 E. Platte Avenue., Colorado Springs. A visitation will be held from 9:30AM until the time of service on Thursday, October 3rd at the Circle Drive Baptist Church, 801 N. Circle Drive, Colorado Springs at 10:30AM. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S. Hancock Avenue, Colorado Springs.
