John Joseph Lulack October 26, 1950 – March 31, 2019 John passed away peacefully at Penrose Saint Francis Hospital on March 31, 2019 at the age of 68. Born in New York City to Mildred and John Lulack. He married Angela Bongiorno on September 11th, 1981 and they have 3 wonderful children. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran. John retired after he served 22 years in the U.S. Army, he then retired a second time after 20 years at WalMart. John always had a passion for writing and has 2 published books along with many other writings of stories and poems. John also had a passion for astronomy, biology, science fiction, classical cinema, and live theatre. One of Johns distinguishing characteristics was his unwavering sense of humor, which he thoroughly impressed upon his children. He was preceded in death by his mother and father Mildred and John Lulack, brother James Lulack, mother and father-in-law Mary and Phil Bongiorno and sister-in-law Pegi Guzzie. Survived by his wife Angie Lulack his sons Alex (Shanti Clawson), George (Crystal), and his daughter Nadia (Alexander Bradt). His sisters Dianne and Irene, and his brothers William (Marie) and Robert. His sister-in-laws Anne (Terry Tom), Patti, Theresa (Raoul Jeanmenne), Elizabeth (Mike Kuvinka), Mary Jo (Ron Kunsa), Christine (George Mermigas), Michelle Bongiorno and brother in laws Phil (Lisa) and Greg Guzzie. John has many Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” Matthew 5:4 Funeral Service will be held at Divine Redeemer Catholic Church on Monday April 8th @ 11 am followed by full military honors at Pikes Peak National Cemetery at 2 pm.
