John LeRoy Meehan

John LeRoy Meehan "LeRoy" was called to eternal life surrounded by his family on February 2, 2022 at the age of 84 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.LeRoy, also known as Dad, Grandpa, was born to the late John and Eva Meehan in Toltec, Colorado. LeRoy proudly served his country in the United States Navy with many sailings overseas. He was honorably discharged. He then became an auto-bodyman and painter as a profession. LeRoy was also a self-taught, accomplished guitarist and bassist, and shared his talent in a host of musical groups.When not playing his guitar, LeRoy loved being with his family, fishing, camping, and just being together. He would light up whenever any one of his grandkids came around. His son, Cooper Meehan preceded him in death in 2006.LeRoy is survived by his seven grown children, Marla Meehan, Jennifer LaFleur, Roslyn (Adam) Trujillo, Matthew Meehan, Nathan Meehan, Rebecca Meehan, Leona (Dominic) Lupori.
