December 18th, 1932 - October 15th, 2024
John “Jack” M. Newberry, 91, of Zephyrhills, FL passed away on October 15, 2024. Jack was born in Buffalo, New York and lived in Decatur, Illinois and Venice, Florida before moving to Zephyrhills in 2022. He retired as a salesman from Mead Paper Co. and also worked at Venice Hospital. He was a member of the B.P.O.E., a life member of the Moose Auxiliary, and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Irene Newberry and is survived by his stepson, James P. Hawkins, Jr. (Karen); granddaughters: Tamara Flournory (Geoffrey), Taunya Baker (Kent), and Jennifer Hughes (Kevin); six great-grandchildren: Joshua Lopez, Madison Lopez, Jeremy Baker, Jessica Baker, Morgan Flournory, Connor Flournory; and niece, Margery Newberry. Burial will take place at Venice Memorial Gardens.
