John J. Roche, age 74, of Venice, Florida, passed away on January 13, 2016. He was born on December 19, 1941 in Peabody, Massachusetts. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Marion of Venice. A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, January 22, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Venice. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 1:00PM on Friday, January 22, 2016 at Sarasota National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Tidewell Hospice, Inc. Farley Funeral Home in Venice is handling the arrangements.
