John R Wellbeloved
August 24th, 1945 - October 21st, 2021
John Ritzie Wellbeloved passed away after a long illness on October 21, 2021 in Venice, Florida. Born August 24, 1945 in Coral Gables, Florida to John Rice Wellbeloved and Margaret (Ritzie) Wellbeloved he was born in a military hospital as his parents were in the service during World War II. His family moved to Cincinnati, OH when he was young. John attended Roger Bacon High School. He then joined the US Army and served for three years. After his honorable discharge, John worked as a sheetmetal worker. A job-related accident resulted in early retirement due to disability. John married Paula Sippel on August 22, 1992 at Faith United Church of Christ, Hamilton, OH. To this union was born a son, John Paul Wellbeloved in Sarasota, Florida. Both survive him. He is also survived by his daughter Wendy (Koch) Zappone (Michael). Also surviving are her children Tabitha (Conner) McClellan and Will Zappone. Also surviving are his brother James Wellbeloved, sister-in-law Betty Wellbeloved, special cousin, Mary Jo Henry (Steve) , other family members and friends. He was proceeded in death by his father, John Rice Wellbeloved and wife Fay (Smith) Wellbeloved, and mother Margaret Bierley and husband, David H. Bierley. His sister Patricia Ann Stahmer and her husband, Arthur William Stahmer, II. and his brother Joseph Wellbeloved. The funeral service will be held January 22, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church, 400 Field Ave. East, Venice, Florida. John was cremated and a memorial service is scheduled for mid-2022 at Faith Church, Hamilton, OH. He will be buried in the Sippel Family Plot at Rose Hill Cemetery, Hamilton, OH.
