John Yuenger
November 16th, 1944 - April 10th, 2015
MSGT. John F. Yuenger (USAF Retired) passed away on April 10, 2015 in Colorado Springs. He fought against COPD for more than 11 years. He was 70 years old. His life and USAF career was rewarding as a survival instructor for the cadet wing at USAFA, CO. He was the son of David and Carol Yuenger from Green Bay, WI. He was preceded in death by his father David, brothers Jim, David and Mark. John was born in Green Bay, WI on Nov. 16, 1944. Upon graduation from East High School he enlisted in the Air Force. John was stationed in Grand Forks, ND where he met his partner for life Julie Ann Littel. They recently celebrated their 47th anniversary. He is survived by his wife, Julie Yuenger, daughter Jamie and son Jake. He is also survived by his mother, Carol, Sisters Kay, Mary Ellen, Ann, and Julie and many nieces and nephews. We are grateful to have had John in our lives for all these years. He was known for his good nature and love of the Green Bay Packers. Being a survival instructor at the USAFA was a great time in his life. Services will be announced at a later date.
