Johnathan Sutkowski

Obituary John "Monkey" Sutkowski 48, died December 13, 2021 at Longmont United Hospital after struggling with complications from Covid-19. He was born June 7, 1973 in Norwich, CT, son of Cynthia Way (Edmondson) and Steven Sutkowski. John practiced as an LPN for a few years in Illinois and then moved to Colorado with a friend to start a business. He also worked in traffic control and in production at Royal Crest Dairy (longmont) and Celestial Seasoning (gunbarrel). John loved the Renaissance Festival, D and D, Magic the Gathering, video games, comics, and fantasy books. He also wanted to learn how to make jewelry and chain mail. John faced most situations with humor. He was intelligent and compassionate. John always found ways to make others smile. He was hardworking, fun-loving, and loyal to a fault. John was preceded in death by his father Steven Sutkowski. He is survived by his mother Cynthia Edmondson, his stepmother Carol Sutkowski, his stepfather Bob Edmondson, two sisters Sara and Amy Edmondson, step sister Darlene, two brothers Jeremy and Bobby Brooks, his wife Keary Sutkowski, and his daughter Keira Waller. Dates for a memorial have not been determined, but will be communicated with friends and family when scheduled.
