Jolene Williamson

Jolene Williamson, age 53, passed away unexpectedly at Penrose Hospital, Colorado Springs, Colorado on March 20, 2011. She was on born on July 22, 1957, in Cheyenne, Wyoming (where she stated, jokingly, that the city had a parade for her).Jolene graduated from East High School in 1975. She went to work at Memorial Hospital in Cheyenne, WY, where she excelled at patient care in physical therapy, and continued that passion at Orthosport in Fort Collins, CO. On August 2, 1988 she married Tim Williamson at Monument Lake, CO, and resided in the Hoehne, CO, area. She found her greatest joy in life: being able to stay at home and raise her two children. She was a very passionate, caring and devoted mother, wife, and a great friend. She had a big heart, loved to laugh, and couldn't resist the temptation to joke around. Jolene loved nothing more than being able to watch her children and grandchildren grow, being with friends and family, attending her children's activities, working on computers, creating ceramics, cooking, and taking care of animals.She is survived by her husband, Tim Williamson; son, Jade Newman (Stephanie) of Cheyenne, WY; daughter, Katie Rae Williamson; three brothers, Terry Triplett, Neal Davis (Cindy) and Curt Davis all of Cheyenne, WY; four grandchildren, Ashley, Brandon, Ella and Lyla Jolene; nephews, Taran, Austin, Logan and Joey; mother in-law, Shirley; sister in-law, Validee Altman; brother in-law, Steve Altman; several other nieces and nephews and cousins, Shelley, Kevin and Monica.She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Norma Davis; cousin, Teddy Davis and father in-law, Jeff Williamson.A celebration of life will be held in remembrance of her beautiful soul.
