Joline Truesdale Brown, 93, of West Columbia, SC passed away February 11, 2018 at her home. She was born on October 22, 1924 in Kershaw, South Carolina to the late Ernest and Juanita Gregory Truesdale. She retired from South Carolina Electric and Gas Company and was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church. Joline is survived by her nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Hazelene Truesdale. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Horace M. Brown; sisters, Miriam Clark and June Todd; and a brother, "Hap" Truesdale. The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, 4720 Augusta Road, Lexington SC 29173 on Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Funeral services will follow the family visitation in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Robert "Butch" Powell officiating. Interment will follow at Celestial Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Connie Maxwell Children's Home, P.O. Box 1178, Greenwood, SC 29648 or to Red Bank Baptist Church, 120 Community Drive, Lexington, SC 29073.
