Jonica Lynn Brunner, age 50, passed away at her home, surrounded by family in Security, Colorado on September 15, 2017 after a long illness. She was a wonderful mom, grandma, daughter, sister, and friend.Jonica Lynn was born on May 23, 1967 in Frankfurt, Germany to Richard and Sylvia (Jenkins) Carter. She was a 1985 graduate of Widefield High School. She married Timothy Brunner in 1990 and later divorced.She attended Pikes Peak Community College and was a case manager for Child Support Services with El Paso County. She is survived by her children, Sarah, David, and Rebecca Brunner; her parents, Richard and Sylvia Carter; her brother, Aaron (Jeannette) Carter; and her sister, Pamela (William) Guindon.
