Jose J. "Irvin" Gallegos

Jose J. "Irvin" Gallegos, 55, died December 1, 2021, at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born November 22, 1966 to Jose and Ruth Gallegos, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.Irvin attended Roy J. Wasson High School and graduated in 1986. He went on to earn a degree in computer software from Intellitec College. He worked in shipping and receiving for Blazer Electric for a number of years before disability kept him home. He received awards and honors from Intellitec College and was involved in Goodwill Charities, Sunnyside Christian Church, and Vacation Bible School. Irvin enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, other family members, and friends."My husband is someone who I truly love and admire. I've always looked up to him and valued his intellect and strength. He has always been a very loving husband and father. He always put us first and he always protected us. He was a hard worker and done his best at everything he did! Even until the end."Irvin is preceded in death by his father, Jose DeLaCruz Gallegos; father-in-law, Desiderio Montoya; and niece, Monica Gallegos. He is survived by his wife, Julie Gallegos; children, Gabriel Gallegos, Enrique Gallegos, and Erika Gallegos; mother, Ruth Gallegos; brother, Jimmy Gallegos; and an abundance of nieces and nephews.
