Joseph Francis Augusta, 55, of Monterey County passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2016 at home with loved ones. Born on June 7th 1960, in Monterey CA to Richard Joseph Augusta and Barbara Lee Augusta. Joe was full of life. His laugh was contagious and made everyone around him smile. He was a Chef that loved cooking for his family, loved ones and friends. He enjoyed hunting with his sons, and fishing on his boat out on the ocean. He loved spending warm days camping and riding his motorcycle. He had a gift that would lighten up the room. He could transform any party or gathering into a good time. He touched many people that came across his path in his life of fun. His smile will be remembered and his laugh will survive through his kids. He was an extremely proud and loving father. He is survived by his children Joseph Augusta Jr, Mathew Augusta, Rebecca Black and granddaughter Annabelle Black; his brother Richard Augusta, and ex-wife Luana Augusta-Morris. Joe will be missed by his loving family in Modesto along with many other family and friends.
