Joseph Earl Eleazer WEST COLUMBIA: Graveside service for Joseph Earl Eleazer, 91, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2011, at Celestial Memorial Gardens, officiated by Dr. Rev. Charles Westbrook. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Brookland-Cayce Grammar School No. 1, Library Fund or Jo Ellen Fund, 114 Hook Avenue, West Columbia, SC 29169. Mr. Eleazer went to be with his Lord, Sunday, July 17, 2011. Born in White Rock, SC, he was a son of the late William Robert Eleazer and Mattie Ella Wessinger Eleazer. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII; and was a member of Saluda River Baptist Church. Survivors are: his loving wife, Margie Kolb Eleazer of West Columbia; daughter, Margie Eleazer Lambries (Chris) of Gilbert; sisters, Helen Eleazer of Elgin and Margaree Lever of Columbia; 4 grandchildren, Melissa Lambries Dymond (Adam) of Lexington, Kristen Lambries Shealy (Trey) of Gilbert, Matthew Lambries of Gilbert and fiancé, Ashlynn Caratenuto and Katie Lambries Miller (Will) of Lexington; also three great grandchildren.
