Joseph “Joe” Foglietta of Venice, FL died September 20, 2009. He was born July 24, 1932 in Bronxville, NY. He relocated to Venice in 1987 from Mt. Vernon, NY. Joe had served in the U.S. Armed Forces in the Marine Corps. He was a Sergeant for 28 years with the Mt. Vernon Police Department. In Florida, he was a volunteer for Special Olympics and Venice Theatre. Survivors include his wife, Margot; three children: Joey, Jr. of Venice; Gary of Perrvyille, MO and Lisa Spagnuolo of Hawthorne, NY; 8 grandchildren: Juliana, Alberto, Tiffany, Kristi, Randal, Braden, Jared and Kaelyn.
