Joseph Maclovio "Blackie" Gallegos Jr., 61, went home to be with the Lord on February 22, 2015. Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Maclovio Gallegos Sr. and Mary Stella Sanchez; sister, Carmen "Lulu" Martinez; son, Steven Sherrod; long time former companion, Darlene Keefover. He is survived by his children, Marlo (Tony Dives) Gallegos, Gina Gallegos, Sherry Trujillo, Stacy Sherrod and Doogie Sherrod; siblings, Garry Gallegos, Juanita Gallegos, Stella Gallegos, Robyn Gallegos-Sotelo, Windy Contreras, Kathy Contreras, Linda Nieto, Charles Nieto, Alfonso Nieto, Jerry Gallegos, Mariquita Gallegos, Dolores Szakmary, Shantil Gallegos; grandchildren, Aaron Gallegos, Anthony Dives, Aaliyah Dives, Pete Dives; great-grandchildren, Denver Gallegos, Aspen Gallegos. Also survived by numerous family, friends and special niece Sherry Gallegos.
