Joseph Richard Rosen, “Dickie” to most, of Venice, FL, passed away on November 26, 2023. He was born in Philadelphia, PA on September 15, 1934 to Jacob and Esther Rosen. Dickie was a US Army veteran. He owned a consumer electronics business, The Record Shop, in Cherry Hill, NJ. After living in Philadelphia, PA, Huntingdon Valley, PA and Cherry Hill, NJ, he relocated to Florida in 2000. Surviving family members include his wife, Henrietta Rosen (nee Belasco); sons Larry Rosen (Marta), and Brian Rosen (Wendy); daughter Ellen Sankey (Steve); grandchildren Adam, Zachary, Kevin, Jason, Joshua, Justin, Jonathan, Amanda; twin sister Barbara Segall and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Esther Rosen and sister Clair Silverman. A private service was held on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Venice Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions can be made to United Hatzalah.
