Born in San Luis, Colorado on October 12, 1937 to Enrique and Ursula Lobato. Passed away December 4, 2009 at St. Anthony’s Hospital surrounded by her family. Josephine is survived by her husband, Jose Velasquez; children: Jose Velasquez, Jr., Jennifer Silva, Jeremy Velasquez and Frank Velasquez (Carol); five brothers; three sisters; eleven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Josephine and Jose were longtime residents of Leadville. Josephine was a member of the Catholic Daughters and belonged to Annunciation Church. She loved crocheting, sewing, rosary making, and many, many crafts. She was happiest surrounded by her family. Posted by All Veterans Funeral & Cremation
