Joshua "Josh" Jones, 32, of Lexington, SC passed away April 2, 2017. He was born in West Columbia. Josh graduated Lexington High School in 2003. He was a volunteer fire fighter at Oak Grove Station and he worked for Arnold Companies for the past 13 years. Josh was an avid fisherman and NASCAR racing fan. His favorite place was Lake Murray. Josh had a huge heart and loved his family very much. He would always be there for anybody in need of help. Anyone who met Josh loved and cherished him as a friend. He will be missed dearly. The family is comforted to know that he is now reunited with his brother, Patrick and other family members. Josh is survived by his loving parents, Randy and Trish Haile Jones of Lexington; his grandmother, Romell Jones of West Columbia; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Patrick; his grandparents, Gary and Lucille Fulton Haile; and grandfather, Kimble W. Jones, Jr. The family will receive friends at Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church on Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church Cemetery. Contributions in his memory may be donated to Mt. Hebron UMC, 3050 Leaphart Rd, West Columbia, SC 29169.
