Juan "John" Raymond Enoch Baca
February 19th, 1955 - November 11th, 2021
John Raymond Enoch Baca, 66, of Arvada, passed away on November 11, 2021 in Denver. John was born in Del Norte, Colorado to Joe A. Baca Sr. and Josephine (Duran) Baca on February 19, 1955. He went to school at Del Norte. He married Shirley Leblanc on June 19, 1973 in Colorado Springs. He then married Karen Baca(Major) on April 17, 1998. He graduated from Columbia University with a BS in Occupational Safety and Health. He worked in the safety division for the construction industry since 1996, starting at TIC. Promoting to a Safety Manager through the years working for Ames Construction, Flatirons and DIA. He was one of only a few Safety Mangers with the ability to teach in both Spanish and English. He was involved in The Knights of Columbus in Del Norte Colorado, The Del Norte Fire Department and The Elks Club Arvada. A proud accomplishment of his was receiving a US Patent for a construction tool called a stanchion, in which he started his business, bEZiup Stanchions https://www.beziupstanchion.com/ John is survived by wife Karen Major, ex-wife Shirley Baca (Leblanc), Children: Christa Baca (Kim Chavez), Abraham Baca (Jessica Baca), Apryl Baca (Dominic Arellano), Siblings: Lucinda (Baca) Valdez (John Valdez), Judy (Baca) Medina, Berlinda (Baca) Carlisle (Roy Carlisle), Steve Baca (Mary Baca), Cora (Baca) Cagle (Roy Cagle), Joe Baca Jr. (Patricia Baca), Shirley (Baca) Hileman (Joe Hileman) and Diana (Baca) Hamlow, Grandchildren: Anthony Baca, Keegan Baca, Tristan Baca, Aidan Baca, Jaylah Baca, Lexi Chavez, Myah Baca, step grandchildren, Harley Hamm, Samantha Arellano, Peyton Arellano and Cade Arellano. Funeral services will be held from 10:00am-11:00am Monday November 22, 2021 at Romero Funeral Home at 4750 Tejon St. Denver, CO 80211. Reception will follow from 1-4 at the Arvada Elks Club 5700 Yukon St. Arvada, CO 80002. Hawaiian shirts are encouraged. Arrangements are by Romero Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to Romero Funeral Home. The family of John Baca wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all his caretakers, Drs., Nurses, whom not only helped him but put up his sarcastic yet playful attitude.
