Juan (Johnny) Jose Montoya Jr. With great sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Juan (Johnny). Juan joined God’s Kingdom in Heaven at age 46, surrounded by loved ones on December 24, 2023 in Denver, CO. Juan was born on January 12, 1977, to Juan Montoya Sr. and Dorothy Trujillo. As the middle child and only son, Juan was a fierce protector of his sisters, Bridgette and Brenda Montoya. Juan was a graduate of Lincoln High School, class of 1995. He worked security for a variety of nightclubs and local schools. Most recently, Juan had a successful 15-year career in auto sales. Juan married his wife Stephanie on August 18, 2007. He met the next love of his life, and the apple of his eye, in July 2016 when they welcomed their daughter Cheyenne into the world. Juan was an avid golfer, poker player, and a lifelong Raiders fan. His charisma and generosity earned him many friends who will miss his candid advice and support. Juan and his daughter shared a love of country music and often performed mini concerts on the way to school. He was a very proud father to Cheyenne, and we will keep his memory alive in her. In addition to Stephanie and Cheyenne, Juan is survived by his parents, sisters, nieces, nephews, great-nephews and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Juan was deeply loved by his large family, and many life-long friends, and will be in our hearts forever.
