Judy Louise Lewis, 79, of West Columbia, wife of the late Herbert Lewis, passed away Sunday January 21, 2018. She was born on January 31, 1938 in Columbia to the late Thomas Reed Harmon and Ruby Louise Kitchings Harmon. She was a homemaker and attended West Columbia First Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by a daughter, Janice Lewis; two sons, Thomas Lewis (Cindy) and Jeffery Lewis; three sisters, Helen Harmon, Patsy Acciardo and Shirley Bennett; three grandchildren, Kayla Stabler, Jacob Lewis and Olivia Lewis; one great grandchild, Jase Lewis; a lifelong friend, Mary Hall; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Lewis and one sister, Lois Howard. The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at West Columbia First Church of the Nazarene on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Gibson Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West Columbia First Church of the Nazarene, 350 Wattling Road, West Columbia, SC 29170.
