Julia Belen Pizarro

December 6th, 1960 - September 1st, 2024

Julia Belen Pizarro was born in Cochabamba, Bolivia. Her father was a physician and when Julia was three years old, the family moved to Boston, Massachusetts. During various residencies and fellowships, they moved around the country and eventually settled in the Venice area. She is a 1979 graduate of Venice High School. She attended Manatee Community college and University of South Florida. Her highest degree was in 1993 from the University of Florida College of Dentistry with a degree in Doctor of Dental Medicine. For twenty-four years she had a private family restorative dental practice in Port Charlotte. She continued her professional development by learning and treating patients in facial esthetics. She was married to Dr. Michael Sardzinski and had two beautiful children Emily and Katie. Some of her hobbies were writing, photography, orchids, lifting weights, biking, and traveling. She is a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and her faith is deep. She is proceeded in death by her father, Dr. Alejandro Pizarro, and is survived by her mother Consuelo Orsi, husband Dr. Michael Sardzinski, daughters Emily and Katie, brother Christopher Orsi, sisters Sarah Daniel (Tim), Sylvia Kona (Rob), Claudia Hales (Wes), Roxanna Anderson (Randy), and Belinda Campbell (Adam). She was a loving wife, daughter, mother, and sister to all her family including her nieces and nephews. Julia was a deep person that added richness to our lives. She was intelligent, witty, and spontaneous. Like her father she was filled with a never-ending curiosity to solve things. Like her mother she had a passion to learn the Bible and gardening. She was loving, nurturing, protective and well loved by all her sisters and brother. She has a special and strong relationship with her children and made their childhood beautiful and full of adventure. They are grateful for the impact she made on their lives, and she will always be close to their hearts. She has a strong bond with her husband who is affectionately missing her. She had many dental patients and friends that she cared for and developed a special connection with. Her spirit will always be with us; her presence will be dearly missed. A viewing will be held at Farley Funeral Home in Venice on Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 11:00AM-11:30AM with the funeral service to begin at 11:30AM. A graveside service will follow at Venice Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Empath Hospice Music Therapy is appreciated.

Wanda Cochran

Dr. Julia was a great Dentist and mentor to me as I worked beside her for 10 years. We had a wonderful work relationship with each other that turned into a friendship that God orchestrated from the beginning. We would share our faith and at times and pray together through trying times of life. She was a deep thinker and made me think deep with working along side her. For that I’m grateful . Dr. Julia you will always hold a dear spot in my heart and will keep the memories we shared of life. RIP and tell my mom and dad hello for me. Love you, Wanda
