Kacey Michelle Ridpath

Kacey was the youngest of two children to Michael and Barbara Ridpath in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on September 26th, 1988. Kacey graduated from Coronado High School in 2007. She went on to receive several certificates in the Medical and Dental field. She always worked hard and enjoyed taking care of her patients. Kacey will be sadly missed by her children, Jayden (9) and Kaylize (5); boyfriend, Johnathan Mercado; her parents, Michael and Barbara Ridpath; her sister, Kelli Moore; her maternal grandmother, Nancy Morgan; her nephew, Marcus; her nieces, Angelina, Cierra and Lydia-Rose Moore; her aunt, Georgie Morgan; and Uncle, Jack Wilber. Kacey was preceded in death by her grandfather, Joseph Morgan; her uncles, Bill and Joey Morgan; and her brother-in-law, Mark Moore II. Kacey loved her children and referred to them as her world. She was hardworking and determined. She struggled in school but persevered to excel. She was a peer student aid in the special needs classroom all through high school. As a child she played soccer and was a cheerleader in high school. Growing up she liked to play outside and Nintendo with her sister Kelli. They went swimming often. She loved cooking for her family, and spending quality time with them. She was very close with both of her parents, and family meant everything to her. She had a fun-loving spirit, a jokester, loved being goofy and had a contagious laugh. She had some really great friends, she would call family, they will miss her very much. Rest in peace sweet mommy, girlfriend, daughter, niece, sister, auntie and friend. We all love you. All services will be held at the Springs Funeral Services, 3115 E Platte Ave, Colorado Springs, Colorado. The Celebration of life service will be on February 5th, 2024 from 1:00pm.-2:00 p.m.
