Karen Maureen Kain, age 67, of Memphis, Michigan and Venice, Florida, passed away on March 9, 2010. She was born on October 29, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan and was a Homemaker. She has been a winter resident of Venice since 1992. She is survived by her husband, William J. Kain, Jr., who would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on April 30th of this year. She also leaves behind her four children, Thomas William Kain of New Baltimore, Michigan, Karey Fox of Fair Haven, Michigan, Rodney Kain of Marysville, Michigan, Christopher Kain of Memphis, Michigan; two brothers, Raymond Sanford of Georgia, Charles Sanford of Fraser, Michigan; two sisters, Francis Dominic of Warren, Michigan and Gail Regling of Cocoa Beach, Florida. She also leaves behind thirteen loving grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 3:00PM on Friday, March 12, 2010 at HealthSouth Hospital Ridgelake, 6150 Edgelake Drive in Sarasota. Farley Funeral Home in Venice, Florida is handling the arrangements.
