Kathleen "Kathy" Lister

Kathleen "Kathy" G. Lister Kathy Lister passed away and went home to be with her Lord on May 25, 2022. Kathy was born on February 3, 1929, in Trenton, Florida. She married J.C. Lister in 1946 and they lived in Plant City, Florida before moving to Winter Haven in 1963. Mrs. Lister was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Lister; her son, Wayne Lister; granddaughter, Kimberly Lister; her parents John Shady and Ola Griffin; her sister and seven brothers. She is survived by one brother, H.E. Griffin; son, Jerry Lister (Donna); daughters, Janice Lister Jones, Rhonda Lister Giono; and Brenda Lister Attaway (Joe); grandchildren, Kathie Engreseth (Ty), Roger Lister, Clayton Lister, Timothy Lister, Renee Agnew Mann (Dan), Amy Agnew Jackson (Eric), Shaun Wilson (Courtney), Jenny Wilson Czernecki (Jason), Jeffrey Wilson (Karoline), Matthew Giono, Ward Attaway, Julia Attaway (Josh), Peyton Attaway; Layne Attaway and twenty one great grandchildren. Prior to moving to Winter Haven in 1963, Mrs. Lister lived in Plant City, Florida where she was a member at Eastside Baptist Church and served as Director of the Eastside Baptist Preschool. In Winter Haven, she served as Executive Director of the Meals on Wheels Program. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. A Visitation will be held from 10:30 – 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Calvary Baptist Church on Overlook Drive. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Springhead Cemetery with a private service for the family. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made in Kathy’s memory to the Winter Haven Meals on Wheels.
