Kathrine Ann Kanzler

Katherine Ann Kanzler, born April 17, 1979, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2015. Katherine was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming and was a lifelong resident of Colorado Springs.Katherine was a beloved mother, daughter and sister who will be missed dearly and will always have a special place in the hearts of those who knew her. I know she would want us to "keep our heads up"; her favorite saying. Our girl is now at peace.Katherine was very generous and kind; she lived simply but what she had she lovingly shared. She loved to write poetry; her poems depicted daily life and happy moments.She was preceded in death by her mother, Carolynn; and grandmothers, Margaret Strutton and Betty Luke.She is survived by her partner, LaRon Swisher; and her children, Gabriel Houston, Justice Swisher, Zion Swisher and Azzariah Swisher. She is also survived by her father, Melvin Kanzler; step-mother, Annette Kanzler; brothers, Roger Kanzler and Michael Kanzler; sisters, Andrea Wood, Sabrina Jones and Samantha Kanzler; paternal grandparents, Melvin and Shirley Kanzler; and her loving uncle, Dickey.
