Kathryn Adrian, 92, Cloquet, died Thursday, May 16, 2002 in Cloquet Community Memorial Nursing Home. She was born April 3, 1910 in Munich, ND, the daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth (Wall) Pankratz. She married Diedrich Adrian on November 6, 1930 in Munich where they lived until 1947 when they moved to Floodwood. In 1978, they moved to Alsen, ND and Kathryn moved to Cloquet in 1997. She was a member of the Munich Mennonite Church and she enjoyed quilting, gardening, listening and singing gospel music and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Alvin Duane; her husband, Diedrich on April 13, 1997; 5 brothers and one sister. Kathryn will be fondly remembered as a gentle, easy-going lady by all who knew her, including her four daughters, Marcella (Don) Fjeld of Floodwood, Elda (Dowie) Kuiper of Racine, WI, Carol (Dick) Johnson and Frances Jones, both of Cloquet; her son, Richard (Jan) Adrian of Cody, WY; 20 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 20, 2002 in Grace Baptist Church, Cloquet. Interment was in Munich Cemetery, Munich, ND. Arrangements entrusted to Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th Street, Cloquet.
