In Loving Memory of Kayla Chumney

Kayla Chumney of Haines City, Florida passed away on July 31, 2024, at the age of 32. She was born on March 19, 1992, in Bartow, Florida to Willon and Wanda Chism and has been a lifelong resident of Polk County.

 

Kayla was employed in the warehouse industry working as a supervisor and had been attending Greenleaf River of Life Church of God virtually. She was all about her family, they meant the world to her. She loved her boys and spending the day with them on outings was everything to her, it truly lit up her face. Even when her own health was not up to par, she still did her best to take care of her mother.

 

She was predeceased by her father, Willon Chumney and Kayla is survived by her loving family, mother, Wanda Chism Fenley; sons, Tyson and Tony Chumney; siblings, Billy Rogers and his companion, Adam Salus of Kansas City, KS, Tara Fenley Woodward and her husband, Joey of Winter Haven, FL, Shannon Chumney of Haines City, FL, Shawn Chumney of Lake City, FL and Holly Lunn of California.

 

A visitation will be Thursday, August 8, 2024, from 11 am until the funeral at 12 noon at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City, FL.
