Keith M. Martschinske entered Heaven on June 19th, 2015 at the age of 83. Born on August 19th, 1931 to William and Lillian (Grau) Martschinske in Faulkton, South Dakota. He attended all his grade and High School in Tamworth and Faulkton. Graduating in 1949. Spent 2 years farming with his dad. Keith took a physical for the draft, but enlisted into the Air Force in 1951. He spent 1952 – 1953 in Korea. From Nov. 1953 to Dec.1955 he spent in Madison, Wisconsin specializing in hydraulics on air planes. Was discharged in 1955. He again worked with his dad on the farm and for Faulk Co. Hwy Dept. from 1956-1959. Keith then moved to Mpls-St. Paul where he started working for Watson Bros. Transit Co. In 1967 Yellow Freight took over the Co. and in 1989 Keith retired. On June 30, 1979 he married Alyce Evelyn (Priebe) Eastman. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Alyce; son Gordon (Verna) Eastman; grandchildren Scott (Jessica) Eastman and Ingrid (John) Gust; great-grandsons Owen, Grant, and Remy; (3) sisters Marjory (Alvin) Matak of Levelland, TX, Carol (Frank) Kiefer of Faulkton, SD and Joyce Bieber of Pecatonica, Il; and many nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his parents and (2) brothers Edward and Delmar and many family members. Visitation at Willwerscheid Funeral Home, 1167 Grand Ave, St. Paul (651-228-1006) 4-7 pm Wednesday and 9-10 am Thursday. Service 10 am Thursday, June 25 at Willwerscheid Funeral Home. Burial with military honors at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
