Kelly Phipps

February 5th, 1971 - March 25th, 2014

Kelly Phipps passed on March 25, 2014. He wrote this bio prior to passing. I was born in Jackson, Mississippi on Feb 5th 1971 at 3:14 AM. I grew up in Boulder, Colorado where I encountered a series of teachers and friends who helped launch me on the path of self-discovery at age fourteen. I was immediately intrigued by astrology, philosophy, and metaphysics, which lead me to cultivate spiritual practices into my life during high school. I studied martial arts, played football, ran track (pole-vault & hurdles), learned Japanese, and contemplated the universe while expanding my knowledge of astrology. I studied astrophysics and Jungian psychology at the University of Colorado working on a synthesis between quantum physics and spirituality, resulting in my unique cosmic philosophy. I became a professional astrologer working with clients and lecturing at age 23 in Key West, FL, publishing my first epic astrology book, Celestial Renaissance, and Brazenwood, a fantasy adventure novel. At the turn of the century, I relocated to Asheville, NC where I continued to refine my astrological and writing crafts leading to the creation of a documentary film, Return of the Magi, in 2007-2008. In 2010, I embraced location independence, adopting a travel lifestyle where I wander the globe sharing the magical wisdom of astrology with humanity. Subscribe to my TravelingMagi Blog for the continuing adventures of a celestial characterologist. Then in 2011, I returned to Boulder, Colorado after writing Elemental Wave Chronicles, in order to begin preparing for the Global Renaissance in 2020 where my intention is to build a new Academy of Astrolgoy and Metaphysics. Service Information A service summary is not available

I met Kelly while he was in Key West. Him being an astrologer and i a psychic we had a lot to share regarding metaphysics and life philosophy Kelly was enthusiastic, regarding his passions. My ex husband Ron Hernandez created the cover of his book. The day that he came to get the painting he had an accident on US 1 and his question to the people trying to help him was: What time is it? and people were not understanding why he was asking that question. Him being an astrologer he wanted to look at his chart to study what was happening above. Because as we know:As above so below. My heart is sadden by his passing. He was such a great guy. He had a newborn son when he lived here and a partner. They were going in separate ways. He was so resourceful, and vegan. Kelly, you left your magical print on this world. I love you very much and thank you for having been so authentic with your wholesomeness. Namaste dear friend and may your path continue to unfold wherever you are at the moment. I am sure that you are well, no matter what.

I also remember him from Mallory Square. He had really thick long hair and he was a big gentle man. He was one of the first people I had ever met that really made a study of astrology and traveled to conferences and learn and teach about it. He was a great guy to be around.
