Kendal Gudeman
July 13th, 1961 - May 15th, 2019
Kendal Robert Gudeman born July 13, 1961 to Ray and Cheryl Lynn Gudeman in Las Vegas, NV whom proceed him in death. Kendal is survived by his wife Diane Dulworth, her child Jasmine (Steven) Garza, his children; daughters- Ashley (Micheal) Ortiz and Alisa Gudeman (DOD:1989), son- Kendal (Mariah)Gudeman, his brother- David Gudeman, sister- Lynda Gudeman, and all his grandchildren, other family and friends. Kendal loved all women but only married a few: Nancy Cook-married 1984, Kimmie Rusch- married 1993, Michelle Murty- married 2003 and the very first one, that we laughed the most about “the marriage of benefits “he got more $$$ on his pay and she qualified to buy a car”. Kendal loved his wives’ children Matthew, Rachel and Marco and their families and friends. Besides his own blended family, both his parents had blended families well; Bonnie Gudeman and Preston Kennington and their children, families and friends. He deeply loved his family from birth to death! Kendal grew up in Las Vegas and graduated High School in 1982. He then joined the military and served in the Navy, he loved getting out into the world but his height wasn’t conducive to submarines. Kendal loved bar-tending in Sin City at “The Four Queens” until he found his true passion of building new custom homes, a trade his Step-Father Preston introduced him to. He always loved pointing out projects around town and telling the story about building 4 homes from dig to show in 21 days while working for “Richman Homes” in Colorado. Kendal played as hard as he worked, fishing, hunting, camping, growing, building and riding his motorcycle, music, dancing, partying, making new friends. He loved telling stories, UNLV basketball, The Denver Broncos, and he was the worlds most generous tipper. Of course we can’t leave out all his pets, a number of dogs, some crazy kind of lynx cat, the birds and other exotic animals. His newest passion, which I bet a lot of folks may be shocked to hear, was President Trump and Fox News. “OMG” 24-7 he wanted to talk politics not just local but international. Besides all that he was a very LARGE sexy teddy-bear that women fancied. Master Gudie lived an alternative lifestyle that some vanilla folks may not understand or appreciate. “If you don’t know what “vanilla” means you may want to skip this paragraph.” Master developed his skills in fetishes he enjoyed and honed his masochistic tendency in a world movies are made of. Master loved attending events with his entourage, DMing and putting on exhibitions by giving fantasy of pleasure and pain with his body and mind. He had maintained a full dungeon to enjoy private and public play. Master Gudie was proud to fly his freak flag. Kendal had a slow decline of heath and life had to change dramatically, we said “Goodbye” to the lifestyle and the toys, next was more difficult, selling his beloved custom motorcycle. He was no longer able to work, camping was difficult and he rarely went fishing. He started reflecting on his life and realized he had “One hell of a ride” and that his children may have wanted him more present in their lives. He had a few regrets but then he would smile thinking about all his adventures and didn’t want to change a thing. Kendal fell, hit his head that gave him a closed head TBI, there was nothing anyone could do. Family and friends came to say goodbye before we removed life support…….he died Monday, May 13 th at 10:37 pm. Kendal has been cremated. Instead of the traditional memorial service the family decided to have a Birthday/Celebration of Life Party on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at our home, 9450 Blue Grass Place, Colorado Springs, CO 80925 beginning at 2 PM. He had such an extensive realm of family and friends, “Everybody is welcome!” Please bring pictures and memories to share in honor of our beloved Kendal Robert Gudeman.
