Kimberly Campbell
July 17th, 1989 - June 23rd, 2020
Kimberly Campbell was born in the middle of summer on July 17th, 1989. This sweet baby girl filled with smiles and life would bring the sunshine wherever she went from that day forward. As the youngest daughter of Scott and Dawna Campbell, there was no shortage of love in her home between her parents and her siblings Roger, Kelley, Kara, and Richard. Growing up in her mom's dance studio, she fell in love with the authentic self-expression that dance cultivated. Dance became her native language; passed down from mother, to sisters, and then to her. She was clearly the final exclamation point! She was a member of the Hi-Lo Drill and Cheer teams at Logan High. She was also a competitive international latin ballroom dancer and danced professionally with the Phoenix Suns. Anyone that knew her knows that you count her in with a 5..6..7..8.. and she would light up! She was the first to play in the rain or tap dance through a store. She loved a spotlight and a grand performance, and nobody could work a room the way she could. Kimberly Campbell was the true embodiment of joy. An expert in performance and presentation; she had a knack for finding the worth in everything and showcasing it. This applied not only to her career in real estate, but to the people she loved. She showcased their value and celebrated them. She worked at Meritage Homes where she was able to sell beautiful new builds. She always loved showing off a kitchen or master closet and couldn't resist painting a picture for the buyer. From there she made a home and a name for herself at HomeLight. She loved her work family and took such pride in her career. She knew what she wanted and she put in the work to achieve it. She rose with the sun and carried that brightness with her every day. Kim had hilarious hidden talents. One of her unusual gifts came in her incredible ability to do things backwards. She could instantly recite any name, sign, or phrase- backwards, right on the spot! The hilarity that ensued was the best part. She couldn't be beat! (She'd even claim that she may have done life in the very same way.) Her wit and exuberance were incomparable. She must have had inner glitter-confetti flowing through her veins. Kimberly lived fearlessly and unapologetically. She was a proud birth mother of her son, Hudson and kept him in her heart always. Her love was boundless; willing to give the world for someone else to thrive. You couldn't stop Kimberly from loving everyone and in a big way. With a heart that size, she would feel everything that you were feeling and cry or laugh with you even if she just met you. She made connections and an impact and built a community that loved and cherished her in her desert home. She was a fiercely loyal sister, a doting daughter, and an irreplaceable friend. Kimberly left this world on Tuesday, June, 23, 2020. To our Mimi, you were meant for more than this, it's time to take the stage above: 5..6..7.. 8!
